Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: September 20, 2026
1. General Policy
Wishified connects customers with independent sellers for custom celebration products and services. All cancellation and refund requests are governed by the timelines below.
2. Cancellation by Customer
- Before Fulfillment: Customers can cancel an order at any time while the booking status is Pending, Created, or Accepted before the seller begins preparation.
- During Fulfillment: Once the seller begins fulfilling the order and marks the status as 'Preparing' or 'Out for Delivery', customer cancellation is restricted due to the bespoke nature of customized items.
3. Customer Refund Options upon Cancellation
When an eligible cancellation is approved, customers can choose between two flexible refund methods:
- Option 1: 100% Full Refund in Wishified Points
Receive 100% of the total amount instantly credited to your Wishified account as Loyalty / Store Points with zero deductions, ready to use on any future wish or order. - Option 2: Original Payment Method (Bank / Cash Refund)
Receive a direct 100% full refund back to your original source account (Bank Account / UPI / Card) with zero deductions.
4. Cancellation by Seller
Sellers may cancel orders while they are in Created, Accepted, or Preparing status (prior to dispatch / Out for Delivery). If a seller cancels an order, the customer receives a 100% full refund with zero deductions back to their original payment method or Wishified Points balance, and any redeemed points are returned.
5. Auto-Cancellation & Seller Non-Fulfillment Penalty
If an order remains unfulfilled in Created, Accepted, or Preparing status and the scheduled celebration date and time pass without delivery or dispatch, the booking is automatically cancelled by the system:
- Customer Protection: The customer receives an immediate 100% full refund with zero processing deductions.
- Seller SLA Breach Penalty: To maintain marketplace integrity and safeguard customer celebrations, the non-fulfilling seller is assessed a penalty of 10% of the order value (minimum ₹50, capped at ₹500). This penalty is automatically offset and deducted against the seller's future order settlement payout(s).
